Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People have drawn upon deep cultural connections, living sustainably and adapting to changes in climate on this land for tens of thousands of years.

Despite valuable insights into present & projected changes in climate, First Nations Cultural Knowledges have been overlooked.

Ahead of the 2023 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate-Change, the Australian Government formed a research team of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholars, IPCC lead authors, and researchers with skills in cultural competency.

I am enthusiastic about promoting First Nations self-representation so I was thrilled to work with the team, producing the cover art for the report and short animation supporting the statements collected from First Nations Knowledge Holders.
